Keonjhar: Two youths were thrashed by locals at Uliburu village under Barbil police limits in Keonjhar district on Sunday for allegedly raping a mentally-challenged minor girl. They were later handed over to police.
The accused were identified as IJ Suttar and Rana Mandal. Both were working as contractual labourers at Jagannath Steel and Power Plant here.
The victim had gone to a nearby field to attend nature’s call when the duo allegedly raped her, reports said.
