2016 Double Murder: Court Rejects Narco Test, Brain Mapping Of Anup Sai

Raigarh: The court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM), Raigarh on Thursday rejected the Narco test and brain mapping of former Brajarajnagar MLA Anup Sai, the prime accused in the gruesome murder of Kalpana Das and her daughter inside the forest in Hamirpur area in Chhattisgarh in May 2016.

Informing the media, public prosecutor BP Patel said that the court rejected the plea of the Chakradharnagar Police to conduct the Narco test and brain mapping of Sai as he did not agree.

Raigarh SP Santosh Kumar Singh had earlier said that police are hopeful that the court will allow the Narco test and brain mapping of Sai.

Meanwhile, the Raigarh Police, which had taken the expelled BJD leader on a three-day remand, have decided to take him on a fresh remand for further interrogation.
