Bhubaneswar: Spectators at the World Cup Hockey 2023 on Thursday will look to make the red ribbon formation to spread HIV/AIDS.
The Orissa State AIDS Control Society and Odisha government’s Health & Family Welfare department has urged the people to join the initiative.
“Join us for the largest human red ribbon formation at East Gallery of Kalinga Stadium at 12 noon on 19-1-2023,” said the announcement.
“Wear a red ribbon because someone we know battles HIV/AIDS.”
Two matches are scheduled at Kalinga Stadium tomorrow – Malaysia vs New Zealand from 1 pm and Netherlands vs Chile from 3 pm.
During the 2018 World Cup, too, there was a human red ribbon formation at Kalinga Stadium’s East Gallery.
