Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported 112 new corona positive cases in the last 24 hours, taking the affected tally to 3498 on Friday.
Of the 112 new cases, 107 have been reported from quarantine centres while five are local contacts.
According to Health Department sources, Puri reported the highest of 15 new cases, followed by Khurda (8), Mayurbhan j(7), six each in Angul and Ganjam, five each in Keonjhar, Gajapati, Sambalpur, Balasore, and Balangir, four each in Sundargarh and Nayagarh, three each Malkangiri, Jajpur, Cuttack and Boudh, two each in Jharsuguda and Deogarh.
Among them are 21 more NDRF, ODRAF and Odisha Fire personnel.
With this, 136 disaster management personnel, who had returned to Odisha after Amphan duty in Kolkata, have so far tested positive for the infection.

With 10 deaths and 2354 recoveries, Odisha now has 1131 active cases.
The 10th victim of COVID-19 is a 55-year-old man of Ganjam district. He died due to acute respiratory distress syndrome, the sources said on Friday.
