Balasore: At least 21 pilgrims en route to Puri were injured after the bus in which they were rammed a station truck on NH-16 near Talanagar under Soro police limits in Odisha’s Balasore district on Sunday morning.
According sources, the accident took place when 61 pilgrims from Nepal were travelling from Kolkata to the pilgrim town in the ill-fated bus. The injured were rescued by locals, who then rushed them to a hospital in Soro. The injured driver of the bus was later shifted to the Balasore district headquarters hospital as his condition deteriorated.
