Bhubaneswar: The Narcotics Control Bureau on Thursday seized 2,100 bottles of Phensedyl cough syrup from Bhubaneswar railway station here.
Two persons were arrested in this connection.
According to reports, the consignment was brought from New Delhi. Police are trying to trace the other sources from where cough syrups are being supplied to the state, an official said.
In another incident, Badagada police arrested a person identified as Padmanav Behera on charges of land fraud to the tune of Rs 70 lakh by furnishing forged documents.
