Cuttack: With 211 new COVID-19 positive cases reported in the city on Saturday, the total number of cases went up to 7568.
Of the new cases, 50 were detected in institutional quarantine centres and 68 in home quarantine while 93 were local contacts, according to Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC).
While there was a ‘COVID Warrior’ among the institutional quarantine cases, 14 cases from Bakharabad and nine from Gopalpur were reported from home quarantine. Among local contacts, 19 cases were from Jagatpur, and six from CDA.
As many as 5350 patients have recovered, while 34 have succumbed to the disease. There are 2184 active cases in the city at present.
