Bhubaneswar: Odisha on Sunday confirmed 22 more fatalities, including a four-month-old girl child from Ganjan district, due to COVID-19 pushing the toll to 8,884.
It is for the 10th day that the state has reported over 20 deaths due to the deadly disease. Odisha had seen 23 deaths on February 4, 22 on February 5, 23 on February 6, 20 on February 7, 21 on February 8, 22 on February 9, 21 on February 10, 20 on February 11 and 24 on February 12.
The details of the new casualties as shared by the Health Department are as follows:
1.A 77 years old Male of Angul District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.
2.A 45 years old Male of Balasore District.
3.A 70 years old Male of Balasore District.
4.A 80 years old Male of Balasore District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.
5.A 52 years old Male of Balasore District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Chronic Kidney Disease.
6.A 70 years old Male of Balasore District.
7.A 75 years old Male of Balasore District.
8.A 55 years old Female of Balasore District.
9.A 77 years old Male of Balasore District who was also suffering from Chronic Kidney Disease, Hypertension.
10.A 88 years old Male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Hypertension.
11.A 82 years old Male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Parkinson’s Disease, Hypertension & Cerebro Vascular Accident.
12.A 4-month-old Girl Child of Ganjam District.
13.A 25 years old Male of Ganjam District.
14.A 50 years old Male of Ganjam District.
15.A 62 years old Female of Jagatsinghpur District who was also suffering from Asthma, Hypertension.
16.A 61 years old Male of Kendrapada District who was also suffering from Hypertension & Metabolic Encephalopathy.
17.A 52 years old Female of Keonjhar District who was also suffering from Hypertension.
18.A 80 years old Male of Nabarangapur District.
19.A 53 years old Male of Sundargarh District.
20.A 90 years old Male of Sundargarh District who was also suffering from Hypertension, Asthma, Cerebro Vascular Accident.
21.A 27 years old Female of Sundargarh District.
22.A 91 years old Female of Sundargarh District who was also suffering from Hypertension.
