Cuttack: A 22-year-old man allegedly committed suicide while on a video call with his girlfriend at Matha Sahi in Chauliaganj area of Odisha’s Cuttack city on Wednesday. The deceased has been identified as Tapas Mohanty.
According to sources, Tapas was a Plus 3 student in a Jagatsinghpur college, while his girlfriend is also a student of the same college. It is learnt that the duo had a spat during a telephone call around 11 am following which the man took the extreme step.
