New Delhi: Less than 24 hours after a 25-year-old man died of a heart attack, his 22-year-old wife jumped off the seventh floor of their apartment in Ghaziabad and succumbed to her injuries early on Tuesday.
According to reports, Abhishek, a property dealer, complained of chest pain when on an outing to Delhi zoo with his wife Anjali on Monday. He was rushed to Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital first and then to Safdarjung Hospital but was declared dead by the doctors who identified heart attack as the cause of his untimely death.
His body was then brought home at Ahlcon Apartments in Ghaziabad’s Vaishali around 9 pm. Unable to cope with her husband’s sudden death, Anjali rushed to the seventh-floor balcony and jumped. She was promptly taken to Max Hospital, Vaishali, but succumbed.
The couple was married on November 30 last year.
