23 Direct Contacts Among 36 New COVID Cases In Odisha’s Sundargarh; Know Details

Sundargarh: Sundargarh district has reported 36 new cases of COVID-19, Collector Nikhil Pavan Kalyan said on Saturday.

Among the 36 coronavirus positive cases, 21 are men while 15 are women.

A total of 13 people are the returnees from Delhi, Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, Himanchal Pradesh and Chandigarh.


While the rest 23 positive cases are the direct contacts of previously infected persons, who were lodged at the Temporary Medical Centre (TMCs) at Hemgiri, Nuagaon, BPUT, Kadobahal and Chikatmati.

With 176 recoveries, Sundargarh district now has 80 coronavirus active cases.
