Cuttack: As many as 238 new COVID-19 cases including 4 ‘COVID Warriors’ were detected in the city on Wednesday.
According to Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC), of the new cases, 49 were reported from institutional quarantine centres, 56 from home quarantine, while 133 were local contacts.
Maximum 10 positive cases were detected from Mahatab Road and five from Dolamundai in the city.
With the day’s figure, the total COVID-19 cases have gone up to 6896, while 4878 have recovered and 31 succumbed to the disease. The number of active cases in the city stands at 1987 at present.
