Phulbani: The COVID-19 tally in Kandhamal district surged to 572 on Saturday with the detection of 45 new cases in the last 24 hours.
The new cases included 24 from containment area and a COVID warrior.
According to the district administration, 13 cases were reported from Tumudibandh, followed Phulbani (9), Kotagad (9), G.udaygiri (7), Raikia (4), K.Nuagaon (2) and Tikabali (1).
