Bhubaneswar: Of 214 COVID-19 positive cases detected in Odisha on Thursday, Bhubaneswar accounted for 24.
Of the new cases of the day, 21 were local contacts and the rest from quarzntine centres, according to Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC).
Among the local contacts, 3 cases each were reported from Kalinga Nagar and school near Patia. There were two cases each from XIMB, Kalinga Vihar and Patia. One case each was detected in IRC Village, Jaydev Vihar, Khandagiri, Naharkanta, Nayapalli, Niladri Vihar, Rasulgarh, Saheed Nagar and Unit VIII.

Total 11 patients have recovered from the disease in the city during the period.
With the day’s addition, the positive tally has gone up to 32,243 while there are 130 active cases at present.
