Bhubaneswar: The declining trend of new COVID-19 cases continued in the city where 243 persons tested positive in the last 24 hours against 253 cases on Thursday.
Of the fresh cases, 68 were detected in quarantine centres while 175 were local contact cases including 14 from Nayapalli and 10 from Saheed Nagar, according to Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC).
With the day’s figure, the COVID-19 tally in capital city went up to 26,779. While 357 persons recovered from the disease on the day taking the total number to 23523, there were 3106 active cases.
