Berhampur: The students of Industrial Training Institute (ITI), here, who had qualified in the tests conducted by Suzuki Motors for different posts in the company, left for joining their place of posting in Gujarat on Wednesday.
Total 243 students had been selected for jobs in various trades including fitter, welder and electrician.
The tests were conducted at ITI Berhampur on February 14 and the successful students would be engaged in a package of Rs 19,400 per month.
Five special buses from Suzuki Motors, carrying the students, were flagged off by Dr KVR Chary, Director IISER; Kanhu Chowdhury, RTO Ganjam and Ranjan Kumar Swain, Principal, Parala Maharaja Engineering College.
