Phulbani: A private bus carrying about 25 passengers overturned at Gadiapada Ghat near Khajuripada in Kandhamal district on Friday morning. No casualty has been reported.
According to sources, the Bhubaneswar-bound bus was coming from Tikabali. The brakes of the vehicle failed near Gadiapada Ghat and the driver lost control. The bus turned turtle leaving 25 passengers injured.
The injured passengers were immediately rushed to Khajuripada Community Health Centre (CHC). However, the critically-injured ones were shifted to the District Headquarter Hospital (DHH) in Phulbani.
