Ganjam: Excise sleuths on Tuesday arrested two persons while they were illegally transporting cannabis in a car at Bhanjanagar in Ganjam district.
Those arrested were identified as Sameer Digal and Ranjan Digal.
Acting on a tip-off, the officials intercepted the vehicle and recovered 25 kg of ganja stuffed in sacks.
The market value of the seized ganja, which was being smuggled to Bhubaneswar from Balikuda, is estimated at Rs 2 lakh, excise sources said.
