Bhubaneswar: As many as 2503 COVID-19 patients recovered from the disease and were being discharged from different hospitals in the state on Friday.
Of the new recovered patients, 369 were from Khurda, 281 from Cuttack, 204 from Ganjam, 180 from Rayagada, 149 from Sambalpur, 135 from Nayagarh, 132 from Balasore, 107 from Mayurbhanj and 102 from Puri, according to Health and Family Welfare department.
Similarly, there were 95 recovered cases in Koraput, 71 in Jharsuguda, 70 each in Bargarh, Bhadrak and Boudh, 67 in Malkangiri, 52 in Kandhamal, 48 in Gajapati, 44 in Nabarangpur, 43 in Kendrapada, 38 in Kalahandi, 36 in Balangir, 33 in Jajapur, 26 in Sonepur and 21 in Keonjhar district.
