255 More Test COVID-19 Positive In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: The capital city registered 255 COVID positive cases in the last 24 hours compared to 266 cases on Wednesday and 223 on Tuesday.

The new cases registered during the period included 60 were from quarantine and 195 local contacts, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) stated in a tweet.

Of the local contacts, maximum 22 cases were reported from Khandagiri, followed by 18 from Nayapalli and 15 from Patia.

As many as 235 patients recovered from the disease while the number of the deceased went up to 859.

The city now has 2,633 active cases and total positive cases have gone up to 1,01,128, the BMC stated.
