Sundargarh: The state government has decided to appoint as many as 26 doctors in Sundargarh district in the near future to provide better healthcare services to the people, informed Health and Family Welfare Minister Pratap Jena on Saturday.
Jena, who arrived on a two-day visit to the district, inaugurated an urban primary health centre at Tilaka Nagar and three more health centres at Kutra, Rajgangpur and Karunga.
He also took stock of the healthcare facilities in the district.
The minister was accompanied by senior government officials.
