Cuttack: As many as 264 COVID-19 positive cases were reported from different parts of the city here on Friday.
According to Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC), 54 were from institutional quarantine centres, 80 from home quarantine and 130 were local contacts among the new cases. Three are corona warriors.
Among the local contacts, eight cases were reported from Jagatpur and seven each from Sector 7 CDA and Nayabazar.
Among the patients from home quarantine, 10 were from Jagatpur and seven each from Bidanasi and Nayabazar.
With the day’s figure, the total positive cases in the city went up to 7357. While 5196 patients have recovered, 32 have succumbed to the infection. There are 2129 active cases.
