Bhubaneswar: A court has sentenced three accused in the triple murder in Bhubaneswar to life imprisonment.
The court of Additional District Judge II in Bhubaneswar announced the sentence on Friday after hearing the witnesses and verifying the evidence submitted by police in the murder that took place around 27 years ago.
The court sentenced the three accused – Rudra Narayan, Jitu and Chitta – to life imprisonment, while the fourth accused died some days ago.
As per the case, the three convicts had killed Biswajit Nayak, Dillip Ray and Sharada Rath over past enmity in Baramunda of the city on July 11, 1996.
