Bhubaneswar: As many as 2706 COVID-19 patients recovered from the disease and were being discharged from different hospitals in the state on Thursday.
Of the new recovered cases, maximum 411 were reported from Cuttack, followed by 354 from Khurda, 233 from Mayurbhanj, 173 from Ganjam, 152 from Nayagarh, 139 from Bargarh, 132 from Puri and 101 from Rayagada, according to Health and Family Welfare department.
Similarly, there were 93 recoveries in Jharsuguda, 92 in Jajpur, 82 in Keonjhar, 81 in Sambalpur, 75 in Jagatsinghpur, 66 in Kendrapada, 65 in Dhenkanal, 65 in Koraput, 53 in Bhadrak, 52 in Nabarangpur, 38 in Balasore, 34 in Sundargarh, 33 in Kalahandi, 27 in Malkangiri, 25 in Balangir, 24 in Sonepur, 23 each in Boudh and Nuapada, 20 in Kandhamal, 18 in Gajapati, 17 in Angul and 5 in Deogarh district.
With the day’s figure, the total recovered cases in Odisha now stand at 1,08,001 against 1,39,121 positive cases.
