Cuttack: The city registered 275 new COVID-19 cases with maximum number reported from home quarantine on Saturday.
Of the total cases, 83 were from institutional quarantine centres and 98 from home quarantine while 94 were local contacts, according to Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC).
In case of home quarantine, 9 tested positive in Kalyani Nagar and 5 each in Bidanasi, Jobra and Gandarpur.
Similarly among local contacts, 4 cases each were detected in Arunodaya Market, College Chhak, Badambadi, Bidanasi, CDA and Kalyani Nagar.
With the day’s addition, the total COVID-19 positive cases in the city have gone up to 9320. While 6938 patients have recovered, 38 have succumbed to the disease, leaving 2344 active cases at present.
