Bhubaneswar: With 2787 more COVID-19 patients getting recovered from the disease on Tuesday, the total recoveries crossed one lakh mark in the state.
Of the day’s recovered cases, maximum 1,145 were reported from Khurda, followed by 230 from Cuttack, 153 from Puri and 115 from Ganjam, according to Health and Family Welfare department.
Similarly, there were 78 recoveries in Balasore, 76 in Keonjhar, 75 in Bargarh, 68 each in Jajpur and Koraput, 64 in Jagatsinghpur, 62 in Sambalpur, 54 in Bhadrak, 50 in Jharsuguda, 45 in Nabrangpur, 41 in Malkangiri, 36 in Sonepur, 35 in Dhenkanal, 28 each in Balangir and Kandhamal, 25 in Nuapada, 23 in Sundargarh, 18 each in Kalahandi and Rayagada, 17 in Gajapati, 15 in Kendrapada, 12 in Nayagarh, 9 in Angul and 7 in Boudh.
With today’s figure, the total number of recovered patients in Odisha now stands at 1,02,185 against the total 1,31,382 positive cases. 569 patients have succumbed to the disease so far.
Earlier on the day, chief minister Naveen Patnaik congratulated the doctors and health workers for their contribution to achieve the milestone in recovery.
