299 New COVID-19 Cases In Odisha’s Cuttack City

Cuttack: As many as 299 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the areas under Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) on Thursday.

Of the new positive cases, 71 were detected in institutional quarantine centres including 2 ‘COVID Warriors’. There were 85 such cases in home quarantine including 6 from Pithapur and 5 each from Chauliaganj and Tala Telenga Bazaar, according to the CMC.

Similarly, there were 143 positive cases from local contacts including 12 fom Jagatpur, 10 from Bidanasi and 7 from Bidyadharpur.

With the new addition, the total cases in CMC areas went up to 10,875. While 8,176 patients have recovered, 40 have succumbed to the disease. There are 2659 active cases at present.
