Bhubaneswar: The second merit list for admission into Plus III courses in degree colleges in Odisha for 2022 academic session was released on Saturday.
The Student Academic Management System (SAMS), in a notification, stated that 39,884 candidates have been selected for admission into different under-graduate degree (UG) courses. They include 18,717 boys, 21,165 girls and 2 from third gender category.
According to the SAMS, 21,041 students have been selected for the admission into Arts stream, 7,707 students for Physical Science, 3,400 for Commerce, 6,776 for Biological Science, 537 for Self Finance (SF) stream and 423 students for Shastri stream.
Ravenshaw University in Cuttack has set the highest cut-off marks in 18 subjects in Arts, Science and Commerce streams for the students of General category. It is followed by BJB (Autonomous) College in Bhubaneswar.
The Ravenshaw has set the cut-off marks of 93.83% for Zoology, 92.17% for Physics, 91.60% for Botany, 91.50% for Chemistry, 91.00% for Geology, 90.83% for Computer Science, 90.33% for Political Science and 89.17% for Economics.
Similarly, the BJB College has the cut-off marks of 91.67% for Mathematics, 81.50% for Philosophy and 80.33% for Anthropology.
