Cuttack: Pinak Mishra, DCP Cuttack, visited the Barabati Stadium on Monday to take stock of preparations for the upcoming India versus South Africa T20 International.
Mishra, who visited Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) premises and the stadium for the first since taking over as DCP Cuttack, went around the ground with his colleagues and discussed various aspects involved in the smooth conduct of the international match scheduled to be held on June 12.
Mishra was felicitated by former OCA secretary Ashirbad Behera, in the presence of current secretary Sanjay Behera and other office-bearers.
Barabati will be hosting an international match after a gap of two-and-a-half years.
It will be the second game of the five-T20I series, which will begin at Delhi on June 9 — 10 days after the IPL ends.
