New Delhi: The COVID curve in India witnessed marginal improvement on Sunday as the country logged 3.33 lakh cases.
The number of cases is marginally lower than Saturday. India is the second worst-hit country after the US with a tally of 3.92 crore cases.
The active cases are now 5.57 per cent of the total infections and the national COVID-19 recovery rate has dropped to 93.18 per cent. The daily positivity rate shot up slightly from 17.22 per cent to 17.78 per cent. The weekly positivity rate was 16.65 per cent.
As far as fatalities are concerned, 525 people have died of COVID infection during the past 24-hour period, the Health Ministry said. A total of 14 states have recorded more than 10 deaths each.
