3.37 Lakh New COVID Cases Found In India; Positivity Rate Dips Marginally

New Delhi: India logged 3.37 lakh (3,37,704) fresh COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours on Saturday.

The active cases currently stand at 21,13,365 with 2.42 lakh (2,42,676) recoveries. The total number of Omicron cases increased to 10,050.

The daily COVID curve of India witnessed marginal improvement on Saturday and is around 2.7 per cent lower than Friday. The figure is 9,550 lower than Friday.

India is the second worst-hit country after the United States, tallying 3.89 crore cases.

The active cases are 5.43 per cent of the total infections, while India’s COVID-19 recovery rate has dropped to 93.31 per cent. The daily positivity rate dipped marginally from 17.94 per cent to 17.22 per cent. The weekly positivity rate was at 16.65 per cent.
