Sundargarh: Three persons were killed after the motorcycle they were riding on was hit by a speeding bus in Hemgiri area of Odisha’s Sundargarh district on Wednesday.
According to reports, three friends were travelling on the bike when the passenger bus proceeding to Tumulia from Belpahar rammed their two-wheeler near Gopalpur village under Hemgiri police limits.
While two persons died on the spot, another succumbed to injuries during treatment at Sundargarh district headquarters hospital.
The deceased were identified as Rohan Pandey, Shyam Digal and Om Vaishal of Gopalpur village.
A team of police personnel reached the spot and a case has been registered in this connection. Investigating is underway.
