Sonepur: Three children were injured after a cellphone battery exploded at Adakasa village under Dunguripali block of Sonepur district on Tuesday.
The injured children have been identified as Hemanta Ghusuri, Chintu Ghusuri and Akash Ghusuri. They were rushed to the Dunguripali hospital after the explosion. The battery blew up when the children were playing with it.
Hemant sustained serious injuries while the condition of Akash and Chintu is said to be stable now, the sources said.
