Bhubaneswar: Union Minister for Railways, Communications, Electronics & Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw arrived at Bhubaneswar on Monday evening on a three-day visit to Odisha.
Vaishnaw’s programmes include a visit to Rath Yatra during forenoon on June 20.
He will also be inaugurating an exhibition on ‘9 years of Seva, Sushasan, Garib Kalyan & Mission Life’ at Grand Road, Puri. The event is being organised by Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), Bhubaneswar, a subordinate office of the Union Ministry of Information & Broadcasting.
Vaishnaw will then proceed to Balasore’s Bahanaga Bazar — where a horrific triple-train accident killed 292 people earlier this month — to interact with the local people.
He will also visit Balasore District Hospital to meet officials of the hospital and district administration, before inspecting and reviewing the development of Balasore railway station.
