Phulbani: Three youths died as a scooter they were riding fell from 10-foot-high Budamaha bridge under Raikia police limits in Odisha’s Kandhamal district late on Sunday.
According to sources, the trio sustained fatal injuries after the scooter hit a pole and fell off the bridge while en route to Raikia. They died on the spot. Though the identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained, they are said to be residents of Beredakia area in the district.
Meanwhile, police have sent the bodies for postmortem and started investigation into the incident.
