Bhubaneswar: Three employees of a private hospital in Bhubaneswar were injured in a mishap on Friday.
The public relations officer (PRO) of Hi-Tech Medical College and Hospital at Pandara on the city outskirts, in a statement, said the incident took place when the three employees were working on the outdoor air-conditioner on the hospital premises.
They were engaged in filling the gas in the AC unit when the container burst. The employees sustained injuries in the incident and were undergoing treatment in the hospital.
Earlier reports said several persons were injured in oxygen cylinder explosion in the Hi-Teach Hospital.
But the PRO ruled out any explosion or fire incident inside the hospital and assured the patients and their relatives not panic for the incident.
