Angul: Three members of a family were killed when their motorcycle collided head-on with a truck on NH-49 near Kantala Square at Pallahara in Angul district on Friday morning.
The deceased were identified as Ditia Nayak, his wife Chahata Nayak and their 10-year-old daughter Kajal. They were natives of Similipal village under Pallahara police limits in the district.
Irked over the accident, locals detained the truck driver and staged a blockade near the accident spot demanding adequate compensation for the victims, reports said.
