Nuapada: Three men went missing while immersing a Ganesh idol in Godhas waterfall in Nuapada district on Thursday.
The missing persons have been identified as Nilesh Singh, Amit Gupta and Rajkumar Gupta.
According to sources, six employees of a foreign liquor shop, located at Nuapada railway station road had gone for Ganesh idol immersion on Thursday.
While they were immersing the idol at the waterfall, three of them slipped and went inside the water.
The other three dived into the water for rescue, but could not rescue them. They informed the police, following which, Fire personnel reached the spot and started search operation.
The rescue operation was done up to Thursday evening.
They have again started the operation from Friday morning, but could not trace the missing persons till the report was filed.
