Bhubaneswar: At least three people were injured after a ‘Mo Bus’ dashed against an autorickshaw Garage Chhak area under Lingaraj police limits in Odisha capital.

The incident that took place on Sunday night sparked tension in the area as angry locals blocked the road for some time.

As per information, the Mo Bus was proceeding to Nuagaon from Master Canteen in the city when it hit an auto-rickshaw moving ahead of it on the busy road.

As the auto-rickshaw turned turtle after being hit by the bus, three persons sustained injuries. They were immediately rushed to the Capital Hospital for treatment.

Angry over the incident, a large number of locals blocked the Bhubaneswar-Puri road near Garage Chhak accusing Mo Mus drivers of being reckless. The protesters demanded strict action against the driver and threatened to not allow plying of ‘Mo Bus’ on that road.

A police team visited the spot and pacified the angry locals after which they lifted the road blockade around midnight, sources said.
