Balangir: Three employees were injured in an explosion at Badmal Ordinance Factory in Balangir district on Friday.
Those injured were identified as junior works managers Devi Niranjan Rout, Sauri Narayan Pandya and Pradip Sahu. They were admitted to VIMSAR in Burla. Their condition is stated to be critical.
The incident took place during testing of arms and ammunition at unit No-15 of the factory around 11:30 am.
The reason behind the mishap is yet to be ascertained, reports said.
