Malkangiri: Four persons were killed and 11 seriously injured when a pick-up van overturned near Salapapadar under Mathili police limits in Odisha’s Malkangiri district on Monday afternoon.
According to the report, the ill-fated van was on the way to Mathili from Pangam when the driver lost control of the vehicle which skidded off the road and overturned near Salapapadar on Malkangiri-Gobindpalli road.
While three persons died on the spot, 12 others were seriously injured.
Police rushed to the spot and admitted the seriously injured persons at the community health centre (CHC) at Mathili whree one of the patients succumbed to his injuries.
