3 Killed, 2 Injured In Bike-Scooter Collision In Odisha’s Mayurbhanj

Baripada: Three persons were killed and two others sustained critical injuries in a collision between a motorcycle and a scooter on Budamara-Shankarpur road under Ghagarbeda area in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district.

According to reports, the mishap took place when the two-wheelers collided head-on on Budamara-Shankarpur road on Saturday night.

On being informed, Ghagarbeda police reached the spot and launched a probe. Police recovered the bodies which were sent to the sub-divisional hospital (SDH) at Champua in Keonjhar district.

The deceased were identified as Manas Mahakud and Alok Ho, from Budhamara village, and Janmejaya Behera (22), of Raikala village.

The injured persons were initially admitted to Champua hospital in critical condition and later shifted to the district headquarters hospital (DHH) in Keonjhar.
