3 Killed As Bike Hits Roadside Tree In Odisha’s Sambalpur

Sambalpur: In a tragic incident, three persons going on a motorcycle were reportedly killed as the bike hit a roadside tree in Odisha’s Sambalpur district on Sunday evening.

According to sources, the incident took place on Gganasara-Rabagaon road under Govindpur police station. While the  bike was going on a high speed, its rider lost control and dashed against a tree beside the tree.

On being informed about the accident by the locals, personnel from nearby Gadaposh police outpost rushed to the spot and sent the three persons in an ambulance to the local community health centre (CHC). But the doctors in the CHC declared them brought dead.

Preliminary investigation by police revealed that all the three victims belonged to Sankabahal village near the accident spot. The police have registered a case and launched further investigation.
