Baripada: Three persons were killed as their motorcycle rammed into a truck in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district on Saturday evening.
As per reports, the accident took place when the three persons were going on the bike on National Highway 49 towards Karanjia in the district. As they reached Dari under Karanjia police limits, the bike driver apparently could not see clearly due to heavy rain and rammed into the back of the trawler of a truck.
On the impact of the accident, the three persons were thrown off the bike and fell on the ground. All of them died on the spot.
On being informed by the locals, a team from Karanjia police station went to the spot and sent the bodies for post-mortem. But the identity of the deceased has not been ascertained.
