3 Killed In Road Accidents In Odisha’s Koraput And Nayagarh Districts

Bhubaneswar: Three people were killed in separate road accidents in Odisha’s Koraput and Nayagarh districts on Sunday.

Sources said, two youths were killed after their motorcycle came under a tourist bus near Hardaput on Jeypore-Borigumma road in Koraput today evening.

The motorcyclists lost control and crashed into the bus which was travelling from Jeypore to Jagdalpur leading to the fatalities on the spot, sources added.

Borigumma police have registered a case in this connection and seized the vehicles for investigation.

In another mishap, a woman was killed and her husband sustained serious injuries after their scooter was knocked down by a truck in Nayagarh district.

The accident took place near Itamati chowk where the woman died on the spot and her husband was rushed to the hospital. His condition is stated to be critical.
