K7 Kalinga Nagar Park
Spread over 4.7 acre, the park features flower beds and fruit orchards. A dedicated children’s play area equipped with modern facilities promotes creativity and physical activity, while an open gym caters to fitness enthusiasts.
The park also features a jogging track and a sports court, supporting activities such as basketball and skating.
Smart Park-4 at AG Colony
Located at the AG Colony in the city, the park, spread over 2 acres of land, provides a festive ground for events and celebrations, encouraging cultural engagement.
It also has a dedicated space for children, with safe play areas and sports courts. Besides, it has a modern sports facility with advanced fitness resources.
Anant Vihar Phase III Park
The park in Pokhariput has a children’s play area, an open gym, and a jogging track in an area of 0.8 acre. It promises to be an ideal spot for relaxation, meditation, and fitness activities, embodying the potential of small green spaces to improve urban living.
The minister also inaugurated a musical fountain in APJ Abdul Kalam Park and witnessed the show. The musical fountain combines water, light, and music in a synchronised display. Situated amid sprawling lawns and an amphitheater, the 20-minute show depicted the art, culture and tradition of Odisha through light and sound presentation.
The park includes amenities such as an open library and cafeteria, encouraging community interaction. By blending recreation, health and cultural engagement, the park honours the former President’s legacy.
