Bhubaneswar: Three students from Odisha have made it to the top 20 list of the National Entrance Screening Test (NEST)-2017, the results of which were declared on Saturday.
While Arsiman Pangrahi secured the 10th position, Ashutosh Das and Gurukayan Jaysingh came 14th and 17th respectively.
Shiv Kumar, a student from Benaras, has emerged as the topper.
Of the total of 68, 000 students, who had appeared for the NEST, 2, 518 cleared their papers. The counseling process for admission to M. Sc programme at NISER is scheduled to commence from July 4.
Meanwhile, NISER-Bhubaneswar has increased its students’ intake capacity from 130 to 170 from the current academic session.
