Balangir: In a tragic incident, three persons were killed as a motorcycle they were riding collided head-on with a van in Odisha’s Balangir district on Friday.
As per reports, Tulasairam Patel and his brother Rajesh Patel of Sadeipali village and Rajesh’s friend Suranjan Patel of Kusanga village under Loisingha police limits were returning to Sadeipali on the motorcycle. On the way, they collided with a Bolero van coming from opposite direction at Karakachi square on Loisingha-Bharasuja road.
All the three persons were thrown off the bike on the impact of the accident and critically injured. The locals called an ambulance and rushed them to the community health centre (CHC) at Loisingha. But the doctors declared them brought dead.
On being informed, a team from Loisingha police station went to the hospital and sent the bodies for post-motem. Another police team also went to the accident spot and registered a case after enquiring about the mishap from the locals.
