Jagatsinghpur: Body of one of the three Plus-II students, who went missing while taking a bath in the Devi river near Machagaon in Odisha’s Jagatsinghpur district, was recovered on Monday afternoon.
According to sources, the three from Bhubaneswar were visiting a friend at Ambashala village under Balikuda block. The four friends went to the river this morning and accidentally slipped into deep waters. One among them was rescued by locals and admitted to nearby hospital, while body of another was fished out in the afternoon.
Meanwhile, firefighters have launched an operation to trace the missing students, whose identity is yet to be ascertained.
