Bhubaneswar: To check rising number of crimes in the state capital, Commissionerate Police has decided to set up three more police outposts soon.
Following a crucial meeting, Police Commissioner Y B Khurania informed that the new police outposts will come up near KIIT, Info Valley and IIT-Bhubaneswar.
Several other measures will also be put in place to curb criminal activities in Bhubaneswar, he said.
At present, 22 police stations are functioning in the city.
